1. How your files are handled

AsaanDocs offers two kinds of tools:

• Browser-based tools (Merge, Split, Organize, Rotate, Add Page Numbers, JPG to PDF, HTML to PDF, Edit, Sign, Watermark) process your file entirely on your device using JavaScript. These files are never uploaded to our servers.
• Server-processed tools (Compress, Word to PDF, Excel to PDF, PowerPoint to PDF, PDF to Word, PDF to JPG, Protect, Unlock, PDF to PDF/A, OCR) require your file to be uploaded temporarily so it can be processed with server-side software. The uploaded file is written to temporary storage, processed, returned to you, and the temporary copy is deleted immediately after processing (including when processing fails). We do not otherwise retain, view, or share the content of files you process through these tools.

2. Information we collect automatically

Like most websites, our servers and analytics/advertising providers may automatically log standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and timestamps, for security, analytics, and (where applicable) advertising purposes.

3. Cookies and advertising

This site may display ads served by Google and its advertising partners. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell the content of files you process through our tools. We share technical/usage data with service providers (such as hosting and, if enabled, analytics or advertising providers) only as needed to operate and fund the site.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of AsaanDocs after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
